I created a team a few days ago, but stats says it's 100 days old!

The age of a team, as reported in stats, is not related in any way to the day the team was actually created. The "start date" for a team is instead the oldest work unit that's been credited to that team.

If a participant joins your team and brings with them blocks which they've done in the past but have never assigned to a team, then your team will get credit for all those blocks on the days that those blocks were actually completed.
