To accomplish this great computational task, we need you to help
out by running a special client program on your computer and
allow it to connect to one of our coordinating proxy keyservers.
When the client program starts for the first time it will contact
a keyserver and request one or more keyblocks. When finished it
will begin testing the keys looking for the one that deciphers the
contest message. When all of your keyblocks have been tested the
results will be transferred back to a keyserver and a new set of
keyblocks will be downloaded. The amount of time it will take
your computer to test all the keys in a block depends on the
type and speed of the computer. Very slow systems might take
as much as 12 hours per block whereas the fastest multi-CPU systems
can do a block in under 3 minutes (search the
Client Speed database for more information about your particular
computer).
