Additionally, we maintain a rather lively IRC channel on the CuckooNet IRC network. You can connect to the network using the round robin dns irc.distributed.net. Many of the distributed.net principals can be found there and even when the topic of conversation is not one of our ongoing projects or distributed.net. The quality of the discussion is usually quite good (for an IRC channel). Many talented technical people hang out on the channel and there is usually something interesting to be learned.
